Chas. A. Schaefer Flowers is a locally owned and owner operated flower shop that has been proudly serving the York, PA area for over 100 years.
We at Chas. A. Schaefer have deep roots in the York, PA community and are honored to be the florist of choice for many of the area's finest businesses and families. We carry a large selection of cut flowers and plants and are happy to customize any arrangement to meet your unique needs. Our knowledgeable staff will provide you with impeccable service and the personal attention that is missing in today's world of flower shop consolidation and industry roll-ups.
Our Market Street storefront is open Monday through Friday, 8am to 3pm, and Saturday from 8am to 12PM. We are closed on Sunday, however, if there is an event or funeral on that day, we make exceptions! (we will run drivers out in the morning) Chas. A. Schaefer delivers to the entire city of York, PA and the surrounding areas, and assures that your flowers will arrive fresh and beautiful through our own fleet of air conditioned vans and professional flower delivery drivers.

Delivery Policy
A local delivery fee of 9.95 (As of March due to rising fuel prices!) will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)
U.S. orders must be received before 1:00PM in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.
We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.
We are unable to make HOME deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day. (we will deliver funeral work in the morning for services that day)
Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.
We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.
Holiday Deliveries
To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 1 day prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.
Our shop will always be closed on the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.
